Technical Senior Product Manager
Help guard real-world users with StrangeBee. Collaborate in a supportive, high-impact team and grow as we shape Europe’s leading incident response platform.
Job description
We are looking for a Technical Senior Product Manager to lead one or several product lines within our incident response platform.
In this role, you will take full ownership of strategic product topics, from identifying opportunities to delivering measurable impact. You will operate at both strategic and operational levels, contributing directly to the evolution and maturity of our product organization.
You will work closely with engineering, design, sales, customer success, and cybersecurity experts to ensure we continuously deliver high-value solutions to security teams worldwide.
Responsibilities
Identify the right problems to solve
Continuously gather and interpret signals from users, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor market trends, evolving security practices, and emerging technologies — particularly AI and automation — to uncover product opportunities.
Anticipate technical and architectural changes that could impact our users or product positioning.
Structure complex technical and business challenges into actionable, value-driven opportunities.
Challenge feature requests to focus on real impact rather than surface-level demands.
Prioritize, arbitrate, and drive product vision
Support teams and stakeholders in prioritizing opportunities based on impact, effort, and strategic alignment — including technically heavy initiatives such as refactoring, infrastructure migrations, or design system evolutions.
Contribute to building and defending an ambitious, coherent 12–18 month roadmap aligned with company strategy.
Integrate market insights and upcoming technical evolutions into roadmap decisions.
Make and own strategic trade-offs, including difficult renouncements.
Explore and structure opportunities
Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to enrich opportunities with qualitative and quantitative insights.
Identify uncertainty zones early — including technical risks — and reduce them before delivery.
Define clear product hypotheses and measurable success indicators.
Validate API contracts, assess technical feasibility, and contribute meaningfully to architecture discussions alongside engineering teams.
Ensure the right stakeholders are involved at the right time.
Collaborate closely with your feature squad
Partner with your squad to co-build high-impact solutions, engaging at a technical level when needed.
Bring initiatives to maturity while balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and business value.
Work in short iterations to test quickly, learn fast, and adapt continuously.
Coordinate complete deliveries including product, documentation, internal communication, and enablement (Sales, CSM, Support).
Ensure the team fully understands the "why" behind what they build.
Measure, learn, and iterate
Track defined KPIs and adoption metrics.
Analyze user feedback and product performance to refine, adjust, or stop initiatives when needed.
Ensure the delivered value is clearly understood internally and externally.
Continuously close the loop with users to maximize long-term impact.
Requirements
Product vision & prioritization: Translate business, market, and user challenges into clear product decisions — including on technically complex topics.
Technical fluency: Ability to read and understand code well enough to assess the impact of migrations, refactoring, or architectural changes, engage credibly with engineering leads as a peer in technical discussions and evaluate trade-offs between technical approaches and their product implications.
Discovery & framing: Identify real problems and structure complex opportunities, including those driven by technical debt or platform evolution.
Value-driven delivery: Turn product decisions into measurable impact with cross-functional teams.
Product leadership: Communicate clearly, simplify complexity, foster adoption, and challenge stakeholders constructively.
Autonomy & ownership: Lead initiatives end-to-end in a demanding environment.
Professional English: Read, write, and collaborate fluently in an international product context.
Proactive mindset: Contribute to improving product practices and cross-team collaboration.
Bonus
Experience leading large-scale refactoring initiatives or design system evolution, technical migrations, or design system evolutions across multiple teams.
Experience building or scaling AI-powered products and using AI as a productivity lever.
Hands-on experience with automation products or platforms (orchestration, workflow engines, developer tools).
Previous experience as a software developer — understanding the engineering perspective from the inside is a strong asset.
Knowledge of cybersecurity or products addressing security-related challenges.
You might feel hesitant to apply if you don’t match 100% of the requirements. This list is a guide, we encourage you to apply even if you are a partial match. We are building teams that innovate, not teams that simply tick every box.
About us
StrangeBee is a European cybersecurity software company specializing in Incident Response.
Founded in 2018 by the creators of TheHive and Cortex, StrangeBee was built on the success of tools that quickly became widely adopted within the cybersecurity community. What started as open-source initiatives evolved into enterprise-grade solutions trusted by organizations worldwide.
Today, TheHive is recognized as a leading incident response platform, empowering thousands of security analysts to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats efficiently.
StrangeBee now operates as a fully commercial software vendor, focused on delivering robust, scalable, and continuously evolving solutions tailored to the needs of modern security teams.
Our ambition is clear: strengthen our product ecosystem, meet the fast-growing demands of the cybersecurity market, and establish StrangeBee as a global leader in incident response platforms.
We are growing fast — and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us.
Why join us
At StrangeBee, you won’t just join a company — you’ll help shape a growing European cybersecurity leader.
What makes us different is not only what we build, but how we build it.

Everything we do starts with impact. We build for real security teams facing real threats. We listen carefully, challenge assumptions, and aim to deeply understand the “why” behind every need. If you care about delivering meaningful value — not just shipping features — you’ll feel at home here.
Quest for Excellence
“Good enough” is not our standard. We continuously question how we work, how we collaborate, and how we improve our product. Excellence for us means rigor, accountability, and pride in craftsmanship — whether in code, sales conversations, customer support, or internal processes.
Embrace Change
Cybersecurity evolves constantly — so do we. We encourage initiative, ideas, and constructive challenge. If you see something that could be better, you’re expected to speak up and help drive improvement. Change is not something we endure; it’s something we actively shape.
One Team
We believe performance comes from trust. We foster open communication, mutual respect, and psychological safety. Everyone’s voice matters, and collaboration goes beyond titles or departments. We succeed together.
Joining StrangeBee means working in an environment where ownership is real, standards are high, and impact is visible — while being part of a team that genuinely supports each other.
